About Me
Career & Education
I've worked extensively as an educator in public high schools in Oakland and San Francisco. Through my teaching career, I've developed creative ways to teach science to students in under-resourced classrooms by utilizing materials one can find in a grocery store.
Pulling from my love of great food and health, I've focused many of my lessons on helping students realize the amazing science that happens in our own kitchens and bodies. We've made butter, ice cream, s'mores, and kombucha with my students.

Engaging with technology was always a part of my work in making my classroom more accessible for students. Teaching through the COVID pandemic, accentuated the need for tech integration in classrooms. Many of my students and fellow teachers needed help navigating the various tools.
Through this experience, I pursued more education to learn to make technology learning more accessible to the wider population. I strive to work on tools that help people engage and learn technology quicker and more effectively.
